ing the police does not immediately get him thrown in jail... I went to the hospital instead of to the police when he hit me. Tonight, I already ed the police, but unless he shows up and actually DOES something, he doesn't go to jail. Threatening isn't good enough.

Nope told them the truth Its in my freakin medical records... I was suprised when they didn't the police... but when they released me I was tired, in pain, and just wanted to go home... so I didn't go to the police department to make a report.

and you are the reason this Doesn't work you don't wait two days or even 24 hours to report a break in an order or an assault. Hope you have better luck than my ex sister in law she never bothered with follow up either lucky she is alive after hours of being held at gun point because she never followed through and just complained the police didn't do anything. Well you have to and press charges and keep doing it consistently.

Where I am...if there is suspicion of DV, the police are ed immediately...with your consent or without. The course of action may differ but the protocol remains the same.
