Good morning...it Saturday, around 8:30am Do you know where you are? How is everyone doing?

Long, tough night on the water. Left late yesterday afternoon, arrived safe and sound in South Creek close to daylight this morning ;-) Feel all jiggy, not quite right. My mind and body need some REM sleep, but still too much adrenalin running. Numerous new cell towers made things very confusing in the darkness, made me long for a chartplotter. Actually the trip should have been very straight forward, one I have made several times. Therefore, I did not even take my handheld GPS so I was left to dead reckon the whole way which is why I found the lights so damn confusing. Little aches and pains starting to show themselves which means the adrenalin is starting to wear off and I should be coming in for a landing soon.;-(

I have no idea where I am! Nah, not true. I am just a little confuzzled. Saturday suddenly got busy - I am waiting for a client to about a rush job, and really want to clean out one closet (I am trying to locate a sax and two clarinets that I misplaced) and trim the lavender plants before I head out this afternoon. I know - livin' on the edge! A thirst for danger, I haz one!

playing in the rain This rain is depressing, so my daughter and I decided that if you can't beat it join it. We went out and ran through every puddle we could find. Now I'm just doing laundry and chores. Lazy day for us.

I finally realized that I had the wrong saturday in mind. I don't have a vet appointment and I am glad I realized that before I tried to catch them. Friends of mine from CO, a gay couple are in WI for a week to visit so we are getting together tomorrow. I am glad I have that part right for the weekend anyway. I have not seen them for a year. Looking forward to the visit. I am really mixed up today.

Well, it's getting on toward 12:30 now... here in lovely Sacramento. I am here now in front of my computer contemplating what to do with my afternoon. I have no pressing chores and I just got paid yesterday. Suggestions?

I'm tinkering in my garden in the sun and, obviously, taking fo breaks. It's a nice brainless day. Doing anything outside would be nice today, I think.

aloha kakahiaka...good morning everyone! It is a new day and with some sleep(only x hrs) and getting my aggressions out last night (mahalo for all the wonderful anger releasing suggestions) I feel better...still have some waves of sadness tho. I took advantage of the silence the night has to offer and I've been creating and designing a meditation/serenity garden(from all the many suggestions from the "fo") for my friends parents house. Their backyard has an ocean view which is a perfect back drop. This way her family can be with her when ever they want. The garden will contain some of her favorite island flowers with herbs(her and her mom loved to cook) as companion plants. I will have a concrete base poured large enough for all of us to inscribe something to remember her by. Also we will install a trellis to grow sweet jasmine to climb and provide shade over the sitting area. And lastly a small water feature to give the tranquil calming sound. The phone has been ringing off the hook this morning with everyone wanting to volunteer to put this together. I know there are many of us mourning and this was one way I felt could put everyone together and do something positive together giving a gift from our hearts. Most of the supplies I already have and I know vendors that will donate the rest. Tomorrow it will be just the friends group getting together here at our house for a nice dinner and put together prayer candle floats to launch down at the beach tomorrow night in rememberence of "W". She will always be forever in our hearts. Mahalo Nui to those who e-mailed me last night...you are..angels! With the support we have around us here and the support from the "Fo" I know my g/f and I will get through this time of sadness. Aloha Nui Loa
