you must have some sort of esp or maybe we both are going stir crazy... the Tire Factory put ours on the front and we've been driving all over the place. we are off to get pork chops for dinner in about 20 minutes. (Tho I admit the little mexican place we go to is actually sounding better and better as far as seeing others goes) my sister ed earlier and told me my other sister had left that book at her house for me... strange.

thy answers 1. My guess is front because when you rotate tires, the best tread always goes in front. Best traction for control is needed there. My guess is the chains would be the same. 2. I was thinking along the same line as ltd. Crusted baked - ummmm.... Sometimes I bake a bit of apple to go with chops. Definitely a nice red, too. 3. No. Googling now. my, I'm chatty.

True this, but I believe it can be done at speeds under say 15mph. For example if LON runs out of sliders and IPA she could chain up the front and crawl to the market.

I've lived in some pretty rural, snow covered places and never used chains, ever. With all wheel drive, I can't imagine they are needed. Unless lon is bushwacking off road, it's overkill. IMO.

So basiy, lon should just let the ole Subaru do its thing and bring back a case of IPA for everyone? I'm good with that! ;-)

party-pooper here... only problem with goin free is a lil requirement we've had here for chains on all roads... that's why the Tire Factory had to put them on our Subaru...my gf got stopped yesterday morning and the officer said "you are required to have chains. since you are a block from Tire Factory, I will let you go with a warning, but of course you'd better head there now". :/
